Laskey Design Charrette
The Lewis Laskey Design Competition is an annual competition between sophmores in architecture at Washington University. Each year, a visiting artist provides a prompt that students have a weekend ideate, design, and build. This year, the founders of Handshouse Studio, Rick and Laura Brown, challenged students to build toys for elephants out of wood that could provide entertainment and enrichment. The xylo-fun, was the winning design for the charrette.
